A techno-thriller that did not thrill!   Of course I will be able to turn it in for credit toward a more interesting book at the used-book store

I have little good to say about this book.  It did tell an interesting story.  But there was so much deus ex macina that even that was ruined.  The characters are even more two dimensional than most of the science fiction that I read.

I read the book because it was by Dan Brown, author of The Divinci Code, which everyone has raved about.  Now I will not read The Divinci Code unless someone whose tastes in books recommends it very highly to me.

If I have a limited amount of time in which to read books, then what a waste of time this read was.
